| Its easy to overlook McCoy with Chase Daniel and Sam Bradford in the Big 12 but McCoy put his name right back in the Heisman talk with a great performance against Arkansas. McCoy was 17-19 for 185 yards and three touchdowns. More impressive was his 84 yards rushing for two touchdowns. |

| Sabathia has done the bulk of his work over about two weeks but he has been so phenomenal that he'll get player of the week for his efforts. Sabathia is 2-1 with a complete game, 21 strikeouts (11 in one game), and has an ERA around 1.70. More importantly he has practically willed the Brewers into the playoffs. |
